Transportation Confusion?

I'm so confused; I thought in order to use Disney's Transportation you needed to show your room key...BUT, I just got off the phone with a Disney rep who told me that since they are picking us up at the resort that we won't need to show proof????

That doesn't make any sense to me because we'll need to be brought back to the resort and what then?

Can anyone tell me if we will need to show our room key to use the transportation? And if so, will I need to show room keys for my children too or will me and my husbands be sufficient?

Thanks!

Anybody at WDW can freely use any of the transportation. The only time you have to be a resort guest is to use Disney Magical Express from the airport to your resort and back again. Other then that anyone can use boats, monorails, buses etc

Unless something has changed in the last year, they've never asked us to see room keys (or anything for that matter) on the disney busses.

I can't imagine you'll have any issues. I'd actually be shocked to see them ask.

Thank you so much for the quick responses! I greatly appreciate it!

Yeah, the rep told me that you HAD to be a resort guest to use the Disney Transportation. I even specifically told her that I did NOT mean Magical Express but the Internal Transportation.

You all are awesome!

Thanks again!
