Transportation? Clean, reliable and safe. WHO?

Another vote for Lansky. ..we have used them twice and the service is spot on.request Daniel he does a really great job and is a really safe driver

So, have you used uber from SNA to DL? If so, why did you like it? I want to hear how others who have used uber liked it.
I live about 10-miles from Disneyland so I never used uber from SNA to DL but I have used uber and lyft to get to/from LAX airport to my home or other destinations when I travel. Personally I do prefer lyft over uber.

Interested in this for my upcoming trip. Flying into SNA. Lansky's sounds great but there are only 2 of us so not really an economical option. I usually rent a car for WDW but with the parking cost at our hotel and parking charge at the parks, it will be a lot cheaper to use ART so need airport transportation. Was considering the Disneyland Express but then I read that they all go to DLH and then you have to change to another bus??? If so, that is out. Current plan is for a taxi or uber as I'm not interested in a shared shuttle. Would love the grocery stop but will likely check in to the hotel first (the HGI), dump our luggage and see about getting to and from Walmart or Target from there. Not currently planning a park on arrival day, just dinner at DTD. Any additional options that I'm missing? Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?

TIA

You might want to look into Karmel. They do "shared", but it's a car, so the likelihood is small. Also, by "shared" they only do other resort area hotels with a maximum of one or two other stops (I can't remember the exact policy). You could take a cab from your hotel to Target, or a city bus.

I have used Karmel and Supershuttle. I won't use Karmel again I had a bad experience and felt unsafe. The driver was texting & driving and taking on & off his seat belt and looking at us funny, it made us uneasy. Since then I've always used Supershutle. At least 8 times. They are always in time, clean and up to date vehicle and good drivers. I highly recommend them.

Had a great first trip!!!!

From the airplane over NY I emailed Lansky's that our arrival was actually going to be an hour earlier than scheduled. (announced by the pilot due to wind currents, woohoo!) When we arrived at LAX I sent a text when we had our luggage and he said driver had just arrived and I turned around and there he was an hour early for us.

For our return I texted a reminder an hour prior. He texted me 10 mins before our pickup time that the driver was there and ready.

He greeted us as we came out of the lobby at DLH.

Both drivers were very efficient. We own a transportation company and I am fussy. Safety first!! I felt the drivers drove safely yet not to fast or too slow.

First vehicle was a Toyota Sienna. That was the trip we stopped at Venice Beach for a bit before heading to DLH. This worked great. Driver parked nearby and we just texted him when we were done.

2nd vehicle was a Chevy Suburban. Both vehicles newish and clean.

I would definitely use them again.

Uber is all we use now. The cost has never been more than $25 (prices dropped recently, so last week we paid $19 and $17) from SNA to a hotel on Harbor. The car comes within 5-10 minutes, and we are usually at the hotel in less than 20 minutes from pick up. With a shuttle, you often have to wait for others before you can leave, and then you also might have to wait to drop others off first.

We just booked Disneyland Resort Express (Gray Line). It has mixed reviews but hoping it all works out. It was within our budget so we are taking the risk.

I'm debating this right now. We usually use DLR Express, and have had ok experiences with it. We have two adults and two children, so our cost return is $96 with DLRE. Lansky is coming up at $200.

Does anyone have an idea how much Uber is from LAX to Disneyland?

ETA: I think a cab to a local Target last time was about $20? Does anyone know how Uber compares to this?

Just booked Lansky's for our May trip. It's a bit more expensive, but I get to make a grocery stop, and dh said he wasn't about to start quibbling about $50 difference! So, we arrive in style.

That all sounds great! We, myself and DD25, are going for our first visit in May and, of course, needing transportation to and from SNA, and this all sounds wonderful! But, am I reading this right, that to get you from the airport and to hotel, and then return to the airport later, cost you $200?? That's such a huge difference between a taxi or uber or the supershuttle, the other services suggested. I just read in another thread that the supershuttle was about $11 dollars, not sure if that is per person or trip, but either way that is much cheaper, though the service wouldn't be as great, I'm sure, lol! Even with the taxi at about $50 each way, that's still half.

I think you are arriving at SNA. If so, I see Lansky's is $155 return. For only 2 of you, it might not be the most economical. We've usually cabbed it to and from SNA, much cheaper. It's $200 return to LAX.

Another poster in another thread shared this cost estimator for uber when I was looking for info.

Actually you may find this thread helpful on this topic so I'll share that as well.

Yeah, it really isn't, I can't believe it's so expensive! If I had lots and lots of money I'd definitely consider it, lol, but I don't, so we've decided to go with Uber. That will be a first for us so hopefully all goes well. Thanks!

Supershuttle is fine. Lately we used taxis from LAX to DLR. It worked out to be the same in price ( family of four ). It was about $100.

Has anyone used Uber and had them stop for groceries? I have had good luck with Uber in other cities and it seems better price-wise than Lansky. TIA. :)

I've done DLRE, and it was fine when we stayed at the DLH. It's not so convenient when you're staying offsite (you spend longer riding, and sometimes have to transfer).

I think any private shuttle is more pricey if there are a smaller number of people. When we went last and used Lansky, it was 6 of us, so a standard cab was not an option. We got in too late for DLRE (and I didn't want to do that with 5 kids on my own, especially staying offsite).
