My planner recommended sending out transportation cards about 2 weeks before the wedding:

-Do you send them to everyone or just those that have rsvped?
-Does anyone have a template or a picture I could see?

I sent them inside the invitations, so everyone got one. But if you're waiting til 2 weeks before, you should know who all is coming and could just send to them.

Here's what ours looked like - I designed them in a program called QuarkXpress that absolutely no one else has, so I can't really share the template... :sad2:

Only one side was transportation - the other was a day-of itinerary because I guess no one had ever been to a wedding before! :rotfl:

I sneakily moved all the pickup times forward by 10 minutes so no one would miss the bus! ;)

Of course, then we had people complaining about how the bus had left their stop late... :lmao:

I sent mine along with the invitations like Carrie did. Unfortunately nobody remembered them and kept asking me what time the bus was coming for them so it probably is better to send them out a few weeks before the wedding.

We are doing Transportation Cards, but we are including them in our welcome bags along with other wedding day & RD info

We're putting the transportation schedule in our last newsletter and then we'll have a small lamanated card that will be in our welcome packages.

thanks! We were going to send them with our invites, but we don't know the bus times yet as everyone has not booked their hotels and we aren't sure how many buses to send where.

We are going to put them in the check-in newsletter, but our planner said that sometimes people ignore that with all the other check-in information. We also have several local people who will not be staying and many who are not staying on property and I dont want to go all over orlando and such to give them a newsletter wherever they are!:rotfl:

I am going to list it on my website as well as send the card out 2 weeks ahead and put it in the newsletters so I better not get any questions!!

Do you think that will be good enough??

We emailed the information and then included it in their welcome bag folder so they would have it upon check in at the resort. We also had someone assigned to each bus stop to see who was there and who was missing :D

I love the idea to have someone assigned to make sure everyone gets on the bus...unless that's the person that's missing:rotfl2:
