Transportation between resorts

Having dinner at the Grand Floridian. Need to get back to the Animal Kindgom Lodge. Can you take a bus to the TTC and get a bus to the Lodge? Thought I read somewhere that TTC was no longer a hub for resort transportation. Would it be better to take a bus to DTD and then another bus to the Lodge? If it's too much trouble, we'll just get a taxi.

If I remember right the TTC is not a hub for resorts. Your best bet would be to take any type of transport to any resort hub and then get a bus from there. I would reccomend a mono to MK and then a bus from there to AKL. Just because I love the mono though.

You heard correctly TTC no longer is a hub for the Resort buses. The only resorts that connect to TTC are Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness Campground. If the Magic Kingdom is still open after your dinner you could ride the Monorail or small resort launch back there to catch a bus to AKL. If MK closed but EPCOT is still open you could ride the monorail to EPCOT then catch a bus to AKL, last resort take the bus to DTD then transfer to AKL. (I would take a cab before taking the DTD bus route unless you want an adventure)

Thanks for the info. I'm planning to travel between resorts for meals and sightseeing. Now I can decide on my best forms of transportation.

I'm glad I read this thread. I didn't know TTC was no longer a hub for resort buses. I will have to do some replanning but that's okay...better than finding this out when I get there. That would have been a big uh-oh!

Buses for the resorts are out in front of the MK. As you are exiting the MK they are on the left side. At the TTC you will find the buses for the off property resorts.
