We are in the process of planning our yearly trip to the world. This year we plan to split our reservations between the Poly and the Boardwalk. Is there any WDW transportation we can use or will we need to book a cab?

Bell services will move your luggage from one resort to the other for free(please tip your bell person).

As the PP said, bell services will move your luggage for you, but you will still need to get yourself to your new resort. There are no direct buses between the Poly and Boardwalk. You can take a cab (about $15 plus tip) or you can take the bus/monorail.

1. Bus to MK, monorail to Poly
2. Walk through Epcot, monorail to TTC, monorail to Poly
3. Boat/walk to DHS, bus to Poly
4. Bus to AK, bus to Poly
5. Bus to DTD, bus to Poly

DD (who uses wheelchair) and I are splitting our stay between BWV and AKL.

What we are doing is on the day of the 'move', after we give our luggage to the bell personnel at BWV, we are taking the Disney buses to AKL, checking in to get our DDP, and then going to DTD for most of the day.

Then we are going to Hoop-Dee-Review for the early dinner show followed by returning to AKL in the early evening.

I would recommend taking a Taxi because when doing that it will take you about 10 - 15 minutes going from the Polynesian to the Boardwalk. Plus if you did that you can also pack your luggage in the trunk and if your room is not ready when you arrive at the Boardwalk, Bell Service over there will keep it and at least you know it will have arrived there with you.

Good point .... bell services does their resort transfers between 3-4pm. If you check into the new resort early and your room is ready (which I've found happens often) you would be without your luggage. If you don't mind the added expense .... To me it's worth it to have the peace of mind.
