Transportation at POFQ

My DH and I will be staying at POFQ in May with our (then) 14 month old daughter. We are trying to decide if we should rent a car or not. If we do, we'll either have to haul the carseat from home or pay to rent one (about $8 a day).

My questions: Will we be miserable without the car? How is the bus service from POFQ?

Any info. is appreciated.

your stop (there is only one at POFQ) is the first on and first off - you should be fine - before it goes to POR.

We had great transportation last August at POFQ. That was one of the reasons we decided to return to POFQ for our trip in June.

Waits were very short and as was said we were first on and first off.

That is great news. Maybe we'll just forget the car & take the bus. It's a short trip anyway, so I'm thinking it will be fine. Am I correct that POFQ only has one bus stop?

Yes,POFQ has only one bus-stop, and 99% of the time it is the first on and off. We have stayed there twice, and while we did rent a car, we never used it. I personally think POFQ has wonderful transportation, and we would undoubtedly stay there without a car.
