Transportation after MNNSHP

We are driving from home and staying in a DTD hotel (Doubletree)

My question: I have never used a non-Disney hotel's transportation to the parks, though I do understand that Doubletree does offer the service every 30minutes. I hate to have to pay $10+ dollars to drive myself and park my car in the TTC parking lot if there is another answer.

What would you all suggest? Drive ourselves and pay to park, Rely on Doubletree's bus service (will they run the busses thoughout the night just for MNSSHP?), take a taxi, park at DTD and use the real Disney buses????

Well, you would need to call Doubletree and see if they even keep running the shuttle during hard ticketed events. They may or may not, probably depending on their demand. Parking at DTD will completely be not worth it as you will need to go to a hotel first from MK, and then to DTD from the hotel. If you are staying until 12, then you may not get to DTD til 1 or later if you are unlucky. Also, they will probably stop the DTD buses earlier now that PI is closed. So your choices are a taxi, or your own car. I imagine that taking a taxi will be similar in cost, if not more than paying parking. So it sounds like bringing your own car, and paying the $12 is your best bet.
