Hello Everyone,
I am a long time lurker and have found the information soo helpful in planning our wedding. We are getting married at SBP on the 4th of June 2012, then having our reception at the LSS and then onto UK lower for our DP. We have 27 guests including us plus three under 3's. I am trying to do everything for the minimum $12,000 or as close as i can with an upper limit of $13,000 plus tax and everything.
So now onto the problem. I have Lurky Loos book and have researched our transportation options but our planner doesnt seem to want to play ball. She has suggested we hire the big motorcoach for the whole day
. I sad no because it is not within our budget to do that and we wouldnt need it all that much. She then added that if we used vans etc then we would need a transportation coordinator because it would get too complicated and then it would work out more costly than a motorcoach. It was also added that we had to charter transportation to take us from the LSS to UK lower for our DP?! Really? Has anyone else been told this? If so i am going to need to change something because I am not chartering a motorcoach for 10 hours as suggested. I was told the smaller motorcoach is not available to book and its the same price anyway as the larger one?!
To be honest I was not that happy after talking to my planner as I felt I was constantly being upsold and she really wasn't listening to me in regards to budget.

Everyone from the Uk is staying at the Sarratoga Springs, 21 guests plus 3 under 3's. The only other guests we have are 6 staying at the Boardwalk. I need to get everyone over to SBP and then to the LSS. I will get a town car with my dad from the Sarratoga to SBP and will leave in one at the end of the night. It seems simple right?!!!
