We are coming to WDW in October 2013 and spending a day @ Universal and a day @ Sea World. We are going to take advantage of the military discounts and stay @ Pop Century. What is the best mode of transport to the other parks from Pop?? We really DO NOT want to rent a car, we would rather someone who knows the area chauffer us. Thanks!

Lynx Public Transit website golynx.com, you want the Route 50 bus from either Downtown Disney or the TTC
Someone familiar with the area: send a PM to DISer Edd, who contracts with a livery company and with whom my demanding sibling is very impressed.

We used Tiffany Towncar both times that we went from Disney resorts to Sea World.

I would suggest ANYTHING BUT LYNX, we took that bus once and it took over 2 hours to get to USO. It seemed to stop everywhere! I've used Mears and I've used MurrayHill, and have been very happy with both. Mears would be the cheapest if your party is under 3. For more than 3 I would suggest the towncar, its practically the same amount as taking Mears since Mears charge per person. Good luck. Have a wonderful trip. HTH:thumbsup2

I've always used the Mears shuttle and it was fine but the last time was 3 years ago. The shuttle is far less expensive than the taxi from what I was quoted once but on reflection it must have been a town car. In any event if you go the shuttle route make sure and be clear about what you want when booking :goodvibes.

Which is exactly why I provided the link to the US/IoA Transportation dedicated thread.
However: the Lynx Route 50 bus goes from Downtown Disney directly to SeaWorld for about $2 per passenger. You just need to let the driver know that's where you're exiting - either in advance, or by pulling the stop cord, or both.

Thanks to the person that posted a reference to Tiffany Towncar in Orlando. We are going to be at WDW in December and we had booked private transportation from Orlando airport through our concierge at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I just called Tiffany's and saved $80 for the round trip!!! Thanks again!!!

Just returned from our vacation - we used the Mears shuttle from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Discovery Cove - $19 per person roundrip - I hope this helps with your planning :)
