Transporation to Magic Kingdom for the day

My daughter and I are spending a week at Universal Studios, staying at Royal Pacific. We are visiting Magic Kingdom on Sunday, October 4th. We aren't new to Magic Kingdom but have always stayed on site at Disney when visiting Disney parks. I have never used Uber or Lfyt. Would this be the best way to get to Magic Kingdom? What time do you recommend we leave for the park? The MK hours are 9:00 - 6:00. Are places marked at TTC where we would meet our ride coming back? Thanks for your help.

To make it easier just have the Uber or Lyft drop you off / pick you up at the Contemporary and then make the 8 minute walk to MK.
