Is there a trick to getting the backing off?? I'm using hte Avery brand & I can't getit ofd - I ripped the 1st one I tried...didn't have the problem with the other brand I used.

ONE other question - tell me again if you have to cut out the designs on a dark shirt with dark transfers - white shows doesn't it?

Yes the whit will show on dark transfer unless you cut out everything, which is a pain. I use AmyMickey's transfers because the other brands were not coming out right. Her webpage is amymickey.com

Getting to back off- I score mine first before cutting around the edges and it makes it easy to get off. I tore some before I figured it out. You can use a scoring wheel or a dull pair of scissors. Just try it on a scrap first.

Thanks that what I tried with a safety pin - but I went too deep & ripped one that way - THANKS for the tip = I've got a scoring blade somewhere around here
