Hi there
We are a family of 4 and will be traveling in September. I want to make sure we are frugal but also not spending a long time waiting for buses or stopping at various places. I have tried to do some research but thought I would check out with you "experts" which option you would choose.
Arriving to SNA in morning on a Thursday - staying at the PPH and returning to SNA in the early afternoon on a Tuesday.
For $90 I can add a DL Resort Express bus (total round trip for 4) - I think I have to wait for it though and it stops first at DLH?? I am not sure as the info I have been finding is a bit unclear.
For $72 (round trip 4) I can add the Super Shuttle to my package - I have been told it is always available and will take me right to my hotel but I am sceptical because of some reports I have read
Or I can get a cab - I think people are saying this is about 40-45 each way so about $100 rt or a little more if I tip well ; ) For this scenario I would need to carry two boosters for my 6 and 4 yr-olds
We plan on just staying at the park and in vicinity for the 5 days so no need for a rental car.
Have I looked at all my options???
WHat info am I missing?
What would you choose??
Thanks so much
Carla

In my past experiences, most people who take Super Shuttle seem to be heading to DLR and I am able to get to my hotel in less than 30 minutes. And like PP said, there are tons of codes online to get discounts off each way. Don't worry about booking separately as DBF and I always do but each time, we were on the same shuttle.
. I've gotten that guy twice. I've taken SS from SNA-DLR about 15 or so times and not had any problems. I've also had ok taxi experiences although I thought it cost more than it should have a couple of times ($48 each way, not counting tip, on a non-busy day).
