Transfers from resale to direct

What if a resale buyer transferes points to a direct buyer... does Disney keep the restrictions on those points????

My guess would be yes restrictions carry over. The transferred points go into a virtual contract that records original home resort and UY so I would imagine they will also capture direct/resale.

I would think this is not the case. They have errors with tranfers now. I believe there could be technolgy for this, but I doubt it is there. The amount of people who will transfer points in to say get a cruise, or room at FQ, would be so low, it would be likely not worth the $$ to make the change.

Until a bigger distin. is made, like not book anything but home resort, I would imagine they would follow who ever holds them, and would take a manager to over ride if needed. Which would be super super rare.

The status of the points belongs to the original points. In other words, the points are what they always were since the last purchase, they're just in your account now.

The status of the points remains with the original owner of the points. ie:SSR points remain SSR points and the use year also remains the same.
