Transferring ressie to AAA -??

OK. I have a room only ressie at POP (made back in March) for early December. We always knew we would be upgrading it to either an AP rate (if one became available) or a general public discount or as last resort regular rate.

Well, it's come down to regular rate so I at least want to give it over to AAA for a bit of a discount. I'm waiting for AAA to call me back (first branch I spoke to knew NOTHING!) but just wanted to see if this is, indeed, possible.

I know I have to fax something to Disney to transfer it to AAA but, since ther is now NO availability at POP (or any value) for our dates, will there be a problem taking my existing room only ressie, making it a package with tickets and dining and still get the AAA discount (thru AAA, of course)?

Hope you can follow that and that someone knows the answer. I know people transfer to AAA all the time but since there is no room at POP, I wondered if it would be a problem?

You can book a room only AAA rate yourself through CRO. You only need a AAA TA for booking a package. You can always call CRO and see if there any AAA rates left for POP for the time you're travelling and have it applied.

I have a good AAA TA if you need one.

To clarify: My room only ressie that I already have (that I booked myself) is a AAA rate. I am wanting to change it to a package and none of the new discount codes work for my dates. Thanks!
