Transferring RC booking to Costco with FCC

I am considering booking a RC cruise through their website in order to get the OBC then transferring the booking to Costco Travel to get their cash card. I have a future cruise certificate to use which makes me call in to apply. The question I have is should I apply the FCC while the booking is with RC or call costco travel to apply the FCC after transferring? Has anyone had experience with this before?

Also random question, but can you still make dinner and show reservations on the RC cruise planner if you booking is with another agency?

I can only help with the second part of your question but the answer is yes - you can make dining reservations in cruise planner and entertainment reservations if that is offered for your ship/sailing.

We booked through Costco directly and got RCCL’s promotion running at that time including OBC.
