Transferring Points?

How many times can we transfer points during a use year? Can you transfer banked points?

Not aware of any limitations to the number of times you can transfer points. I do know I've done it about 3-4 times in the past 3 weeks. I am positive you cannot transfer banked points, though. Hope this helps!

The current policy has no limit on the number of transfers during a Use Year. Transfers must be in one direction (if points are transferred into our account, we cannot transfer out until the mext Use Year). Originally, we were allowed only one transfer per year- either in or out, but that was modified several years ago.

Banked and borrowed points cannot be transferred. Once points are transferred, the new owner is allowed to bank them.

Can you transfer your points from one resort to another? I tried to look this up but couldn't find any information on transferring.

Points can be transferred only between members. If you own at BCV, but want to make a reservation at BWV at 11 months, you can have BWV points transferred into your account and make the reservation at 11 months using those points. Points are supposed to retain their original home resort and Use Year status. In reality, DVC seems to have difficulty tracking that, so unless you ask MS to manually track the status of the transferred points, they are likely to assume your own resort and Use Year.
