If you use an April use year BCV contract to reserve 10 days at the 11 month mark, could points from 2 of those days be transferred from the BCV contract to an April use year VGF contract with the same use year at the 7 month mark so that in the end the original 10 day reservation using BCV points becomes 2 days VGF points and 8 days BCV points?

Points never change home resort. BCV points are always BCV points. And, you don’t transfer points between contracts. Transfers happen when you move points from one membership to another membership.

If contracts are in the same membership, and different resorts, you can use them 7 months or less together for a trip.

If you book days with BCV points to book BCV during the home resort priority, you can not use VGF points to replace those days unless they are still available.

It's not exactly clear but it sounds like what you'd like to do is to end up with 8 days at BCV and 2 at VGF using BCV points. If so then what I would suggest is making a reservation of 8 days at BCV at 11 months and then a 2nd reservation at BCV for the 2 nights that ultimately you hope to stay at VGF. Then at 7 months if there is availability at VGF you can modify that 2 night reservation at BCV to nights at VGF. If it isn't available at 7 months then you can set up a waitlist for VGF to replace that 2 night reservation.

And ultimately if that waitlist doesn't fill to get you 2 nights at VGF then you can ask MS to merge the 8 night and 2 night reservations at BCV together so you would have a single 10 night stay at BCV.
