Transferring fastpasses

Hi, I live in the UK and have a14 day ultimate ticket (particular to the Uk), I had booked all my fastpasses and we have now extended our vacation and I have upgraded my ticket to a 21 day. The cast member didn't seem to know how it would work with my fastpasses. Does anyone have experience of upgrading or changing any type of ticket and keeping their fast passes. If so, how did you do it?

Are you upgrading before you get there or after? We have upgraded and the system held our fastpasses while they adjusted the tickets but others have reported that theirs disappeared and had to rebook. We upgraded once we got to Disney though and others upgraded through ticketing before they got to Disney.

Don't know how it works in the Us, but here in the UK they email your ticket and you scan into MDE and link it to the people using it. We then have to go to willcall at MK to activate the ticket and link to magic band. Currently I still have all the FPs and my old tickets still showing as they have not yet emailed me the new ticket.
