Transferring charges

I am trying to remember if you can do this. If I had a charge on my bill that someone else offered to pay for, can we transfer the charge to that someone's bill if both of us went to Guest Services?

Yes you can I have had stuff transferred. But in the first place set up your stateroom accounts with the correct credit cards and you shouldn't need to transfer any transaction if you use the correct card.

Does the print out of stateroom charges reflect which person in the room made the purchase?

My Father in Law will want to pay for it. He will be in another room. I just want to know if it can be done.

This got me thinking, at Palo if you are dining with another stateroom does the bill automatically get separated out by stateroom?

I dined at Palo a few weeks ago with a friend from a different room. They did not separate out the bill by stateroom (although we didn't ask - I'm sure if we had they would have). However, they did give us a separate bill for drinks, so one of us just paid the up charge/gratuity and one paid the drinks and that worked out even.

As long as you let your server know who's charging what to which KTTW card, each person can pay for their own meal. AFAIK, it's not automatic, as the reservation is made under one name.

I wanted to pick up the fees for some excursions our family was going on. all I had to do was present myself at guest services and tell them I wanted to transfer the fees from cabin xxx and cabin ooo to my account and they did it with no issues at all. you all don't have to be there, just the person who is going to be paying.

Ok, this is an interesting question....it is myself and a friend on our cruise. Can we set it up so her stuff goes on her account onboard and my stuff goes on my account?? That would be perfect if possible

Each KTTW card can be set up with it's own credit card.

Thank you so much. We have a few family members sharing a stateroom and I think this would make it so much easier. Can this be done online during check-in or is it something done at port or guest services?

When you do your check-in online, you can set up who is allowed to charge in your room. We had a friend of our share our room last cruise and he set up his charges to go to his credit card. It wasn't till we were sailing that my Father in Law said he wanted to pick up the cost of the cabana. I just couldn't remember if we could transfer the charge.
