transferring/borrowing ?

I searched for some answers but couldn't find the info I need so please bear with me. I'm trying to help my sister with her reservations. She is planning april 2008 vacation. she doesn't have enough points so I'm thinking of transferring some of my June 2008 points. Her use year is August 2008.

Q1. can I transfer my 2008 points in May 2007 so that my sis can make her reservations 11 months out? or do i need to wait until june 2008 and i receive my points before i can transfer out?

Q2. what year will my 2008 points transfer into? will it be 2007 or august 2008? if it's august 2008, will my sis be able to borrow my transferred points from august 2008 points to complete her reservation for april 2008?

I hope my questions are clear. I can do sudoku but this stuff gives me a headache. TIA.

I need to book VB for next yr 11 month out and I have 56 points left from this yr. Do I bank them then borrow from the next yr????
