Transferring between hotels

Flights are pretty terrible right now out of my neck of the woods. I was looking into leaving a day early for our trip arriving at MCO 11:30pm. I was thinking of booking a value resort for that evening, we are staying at the cabins in FW for the remainder of our trip. My question is how big of a hassle is it to get our stuff from one resort to the other? Has anyone done this that could shed some light? Thank you.

Bell Services will transfer your luggage for you. You then will need to take a bus to a park or DTD and pick up a bus to FW. Later in the day your luggage will arrive at bell services at FW. You will need to make time during the day to retrieve your luggage. It really is not a hassle at all, but does take some time out of your day. You might want to think about tipping for this service.

I do this a lot. I like to get my bags to Luggage Assistence (this is what it is called at the values) early in the morning. I bring it myself, rather than wait for them..it can take a looooong time for LA to get to your room at a value. After I hand of my luggage, I head to the park of my choice for the morning. Then, around lunchtime, I head to the new resort and get checked in.
Now, your bags won't get to the new resort until late afternoon...so, if you need anything for that day/early evening, I would keep it with you, rather than leave it in your bags. I've been stuck, waiting for something to get to me, until close to 6pm, after handing off my bags at 7am!!!

Or, if you want to have your bags immediately available, you can just take a cab over to the new resort in the morning, taking your bags with you. Then, you can leave them with Bell Services/Luggage Assistence at the new resort..which will give you access to them at any time, even if your room isn't ready yet.

Thank you so much! I think I will try this. I have to go to pick up my race packet for the TOT and if I got in Friday afternoon this would take up much of my day, so arrive late Thursday night getting up early and going to the sports center seems like the better choice
