If anyone has split their time on a trip between DVC rooms/resorts, I have a question.
DH and I want to go down with some friends next May, and we'll need to rent a two-bedroom villa. Last night I was talking with them, and they said they probably won't be able to do an entire week with us, but maybe only 4-5 days. DH and I won't need a two-bedroom to ourselves and will transfer to either a studio or one-bedroom when our friends leave.
I know Disney will transfer or hold your luggage when changing rooms, but what about groceries? I'm most concerned about perishables like milk and orange juice. Would we just have to chuck anything left over at check-out time and re-buy when we check into the new room? Or can Disney store the cold things for us? If they can store the cold items, will they only do it if we stay in the same resort, or can they transfer the food along with the luggage to a new resort (if necessary)?
