transferred points used first?

MS told me that transferred points would be used first, then my own points. Somehow on our last vacation they used some of each. Now I have 20 transferred points that I can't rent out, and they expire 6/1. I needed them in August.

The CM I just talked to said that this was wrong, transfers should have been used up, and she would transfer me to someone else who might be able to fix it for me but they were too busy so I'd have to call later. I intend to do this, but just wondered what my chances are of actually having ths fixed? I'd like the 20 transferred points to vanish and 20 of my own points to come back. Is that possible? I will be absolutely sick if 20 points go to waste.

If they told you they can fix it, they most likely can. It's just a manual entry. Call back and let them do it!

By transfered to you mean banked points or did you do a transfer? Just curious.

The transferred points were ones that someone else transferred to us.

MS has been known to give out conflicting info, hence the reason I asked. Two CMs have told me two different things so far. On hold waiting for the third.
