Transfering travel agents

Has anybody ever transfered from one company to another? Our travel agent that works for a company has decided to get out of that proffesion(?) and we have always used her and we really do not want to use someone else in that office. Now we are pondering what we are going to do.

Your TA should be willing to call DCL & transfer the reservation back to them. You can then either leave it with DCL or transfer to another TA. If she is leaving the profession, I don't see why she would have a problem doing this. You are suppose to be able to make this request at any time if you are not satisfied with the service.

Just to let you know we fired our TA yesterday. While I was on mousesavers.com I found a TA company they highly recommended, Small World Vacations. We basically cancelled our cruise with our 1st TA and the Small world TA rebooked the same cruise with the same room (actually for less.) It was an easy transfer. I have found that this company only deals with Disney vacations. They don't use the Disney air program (which is a plus, in our case.) Our TA had some great information for us. I am now much more relaxed about our vacation due to this company.
