Transfer Rules Clarification

Hi All

Not done any transfers out for a few years so just looking to double check the latest rules beore I go ahead

I have points and resort banked points from 2010 which will expire end of use year 2011.

Can these still be transferred to anoher member. I have seen a couple of posts that make me think maybe they can't anymore.


Also what are the rules on transfer out is it only 1 per use year ? If this is the case I would have to find someone wanting all number ofpoints.

I am guessing that the points were origonally 2009 points that you banked into 2010, if so they can not be transfered.

And yes only 1 transfer per contract use year.

Banked or borrowed points cannot be transferred. only one transfer in or out per use year.

Thanks for the responses.

The Dilema now is what can I feasibly do with the points to avoid wasting.

I am currently looking at Adventures by Disney - China . Did the Peru trip a couple of years ago.

The issue is I wouldn't want to go until late 2011 , could I use my expiring points (expire ** 2011) to book that or does the vacation have to start before expiry as per normal bookings. Rules ! who needs them lol

I've done transfers before, and I know you can't transfer banked points, but I'd like to know if you can transfer borrowed points?

@ Lincolndisney: if your points expire use year 2011, you can't use them late 2011. Your vacation at least has to start beforeuse year 2011, and if I'm correct your vacation even has to be completed before use year 2011 (but not 100% sure about that)
