If I pay for someone to transfer points, because I might end up short for a possible trip...how does that work?

For arguments sake if I needed 20 points, would they be bankable if the trip doesn't end up happening?

Transferred points can be banked as long as you are within the banking window.

They also retain home resort and UY so the banking deadline would be the ones associated with the points and not necessarily your own banking deadline if the UY of the points are different.

Also per the DVC rules, you aren't allowed to pay or receive compensation for point transfers.
