Transfer question??

My husband and I were suppose to buy at least 110 points from disney. But now we have to get about 50 because our car needs work done on it ( which was going to be the down payment).I guess my question is if we buy 50 points how does transferring points work, iIf I would need another 100 for next year? We will be banking this year's 50.

What you would need to do is find someone who wants to transfer the points to you.

The big piece is to be sure you find points which would be valid for your time of travel.

You would then make arrangements with the owner to have them transferred to you (payment is up to owner--its technically against the rules so no one mentions it to MS).

But if you're going to bank your own 50 and need 100 more - you could just use your next year's points (50) and borrow the following year's points (50), giving you 150 points to use for one trip in that middle year. So if you need 150 points total, the 50 you are purchasing could cover it.
