Transfer Points Question

For the first time I am renting my points and prefer to do a transfer to another member. When I called MS I believe they told me that you can only transfer to a member in the sams use year as they one you are in. Is this correct. I have points from my August 07 use year and the person I want to rent too has already borrowed her 08 points. Please advise.

MS just meant that you have to transfer your 2007 points to someone else's 2007 use year.

Does the other person have a February use year? If so, that could be the problem since for those with February use years, the 2007 use year is in the past.

All other use years should be able to accept 2007 points, though. Shouldn't matter if their 2007 use year points were already used or banked or if they had previously borrowed 2008 use year points.

We're hoping to rent/transfer some points into our account, and are wondering how it all works, too.

Hi, You just need to find a member willing to transfer to your account.You would pay them for the points and then all they have to do is then call MS and transfer the points in and thats it.It is very simple.We have only had them tranferred in once but within 30 minutes it was all over and done with.

When I spoke to MS, we were speaking hypothetically. I'm not sure what use year the person I want to transfer into is but will find out tomorrow then call MS to make sure it is possilbe. Thanks Steve
