I did the iron on's as instructed on the package. It then tells me to let them sit for 24 hours and then wash separately inside out. By separately do they mean without anything else in the wash or do I have to wash the shirts one by one?

Most people do not wash their shirts again until after they wear them. I did not wash mine until after we wore them on the trip. When I did wash them, I washed and dried them inside out. Don't use any fabric softener or dryer sheets. You also want to make sure that they are taken out of the washer & dryer as soon as they stop. The iron-on can be ruined if it sits all wrinkled for too long in either. If you decide to wash them now, I would think you could wash the new t-shirts together - just not with your other laundry.
