So I'm a total newbie to all this and decided to make a hoodie for myself for the cold nights in Disney.. I had some light transfer paper left over but put it on a Navy hoodie.. I know, BIG mistake! Luckily its only a little bit on the front, the design didn't show up at all, and basically looks like a piece of scotch tape. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this? The hoodie is still usable, I just would like to put a different design on it. I tried transfering the design back on to a plain piece of paper and it didn't work. I would love to be able to still use whats left of my light transfer paper since I only need 1 sheet and its so expensive, but I am willing to get dark transfer paper. Any advice on how to remove the image, or can I place a new image over the old?? Any help would be appreciated, we leave Friday!! :confused3

Well, you can't remove the already ironed on design, and unfortunately you can't iron over it, I tried...maybe someone else will have a better way...good luck

Hello,

I'm not sure if this will work on all transfer paper, but I made a mistake once on one of mine and I removed it by rolling the tip of the iron directly over the goof. I worked from one corner all the way up the design and it rolled right off. You have to be careful and do it slowly and it will stick to your iron so that will need to be cleaned off when you are done. Just my 2 cents! :goodvibes

Thanks Millipie, I will try that tonight! Does it have to be on the hottest setting? Any idea how long it takes? I tried to "iron" it on to a piece of paper after googling a few different ways last night and it didn't work. Since I had a design on the back, I was afraid to mess that up as well. I didn't want to take a chance on getting a big burn mark on my hoodie instead.

Also, I was thinking about maybe just getting a Disney iron on applique from Joann's, any idea if that could be ironed right over it, or will it not stick? I will be making my last run out tonight and am just trying to figure out the most cost efficient way to do it so it turns out nice and will be done in time for our trip tomorrow.

I turned it up to the hottest setting, not sure if it will work otherwise. You should put something hard, like a cutting board, between the shirt so that it doesnt heat up the other transfer. I honestly can't tell you if another one would stick right on it, I didn't try that. Sorry. I hope you figure it out! :goodvibes
