Transfer ADR?

Is it possible to transfer an adr, that requires a credit card hold, with someone? If it is, how does this work? I am just not sure how to get the new credit card number on and take the old off. If anyone has done this before can you help me out? Thanks in advance!

I have never tried to do this, but I do not think it is possible.
I believe they will make you just cancel the resesrvation in order to credit your credit card.
