Hi All,

Just about try and book this cruise, but verandahs and/or high desk Outside views aren't available.

Surely they cannot all be sold out already?!

Anyone got any ideas on this?

This cruise sold out early this year, and then a lot of people cancelled. We are booked on this cruise, but in an oceanview deck 2. Hoping we have a room with a working toilet and ac. You never know on the magic.

Just checked again and some inside rooms have come up...

So I'd have 11A Decks 6 & 7 Inside, or 9D Deck 1, or 9C Deck 2....

What would people choose?

Wow, didn't realise they sold out that far in advance.

Is the Magic not a great ship?

The Magic is a classic ship and still our favorite. Sure, it doesn't have all the new technology and bells and whistles of the newer ships, but she's a class unto herself. Having done all four ships, I am most excited about being back on the Magic. Saw her in NYC last week and didn't realize how much we missed her.

We always do ocean view or verandah. Not sure if any of those are that type, but we have to at least have a window.

Hi the 11A is an inside room.

The 9D and 9C are oceanview but low decks - are low decks an issue?

Its a fine ship, but the plumbing issues are well documented...especially on deck 2. Its an old ship so you have to expect some hiccups. I love the classics, but I prefer the Wonder over the magic.

It is also possible that closer to pay in full days some other categories will open up again. It think a 9C is a great category as it is a porthole room and not an inside. I like deck 2 as it is close to the dining rooms, the atrium and the adult area on deck 3. And deck 4 with shops and theaters is not far either.

I would choose deck 6 every time as I love it! Currently booked in an 11B on Deck 6 for this one!

In May (and I'm thinking when the new itineraries come out for 2018 too) people will start to cancel out if they aren't planning on going and more availability will come up. With the TA's it tends to be that there is full capacity room wise but a lot more 1 or 2 person cabins than on other cruises with very few kids.

Oh and come on over to the cruise meet thread and say Hi!

So I caved in and booked.

Deck 2... one porthole room.

May change closer to the time if it opens up!

Already booked a hotel in NYC for three nights at the end of the cruise, a hotel in Barcelona for the night before.

Just need flights to Barcelona and then home from NYC!

I love the Magic. Just did the 11 night 2016 Barcelona to NY transatlantic in an oceanview on Deck 2 and had no issues. We also just did 8 nights on the Magic starting October 7th but this time on Deck 7 (7044). Liked the verandah but actually preferred deck 2 better. Deck 2 is so very convenient to everything.

This cruise is still completely sold out! Does anyone think cabins will be available by or after PIF date?

Yes, I have this booked but am 80% sure I will have to cancel as I started working full time this month.
