Transatlantic on the Disney Dream!

We were also told in advance that they'd be in the Halloween costumes that day. :) It was nice having that little advantage before word spread, and we got all of the characters that afternoon with little wait - even the CMs were surprised that that we finished them all that easily. :) We love the longer cruises because we get to interact more with the CMs. Out of our 6 cruises, 3 were 13-14 nights, and our interaction with the character attendant CMs on this cruise was the best we've had. :)

The character CM's were incredible and it was such a good day wasn't it?! And yes like you we love the longer cruises, this was our third with another long one booked.

We agree about how strange it felt having such a late sunrise for most of the cruise.

They set the queue up differently for the Halloween group photo line so it wove around more towards the beginning of the line, to try to keep it out of the hallway more. Can't remember which day it was, but one day there were 3 different lines snaking around back by the shops (for group photo, charms, and lithograph signing) & people were accidently in the wrong lines (and very unhappy when they found out). If in doubt, we always asked what the line was for before joining, and were surprised by how many times we were told by a last person in line that they didn't know what the line was for.

We did do the trick or treating, just to see what it was like, and ended up with SO much candy, so we walked around & gave it out to CMs all over the ship - we had a lot of fun doing that. :)

We did miss one of the group photos due to having Palo brunch booked so sounds like it could have been that day but yes I agree with the line for the Halloween photo having more "switchbacks" 🤣

We did notice a lot of people on the last day and evening after we left Castaway Cay giving out candy to anyone who wanted some - I got offered chocolate twice on my way to Deck 11 to get a drink 😄

I forgot about that - we had several children offer us candy that night too. We didn't want it either :) , but kindly accepted since it was little kids. The FB group had a huge trick or treating too, and we heard several parents say that there was no way they were packing all that candy. :)

All I remembered was doing the Trick or Treating a few years ago on the Dream and bringing a giant bag of candy all the way home which I never ate so I gave it away to some friends.
