We have been fortunate enough to do a couple of WBPC and loved the extra sea days but we are a bit perplexed over what to expect for the EBTA for this May...a quick review of past trip reports on the EBTA finds either a more northerly route along the east coast of the US/Canada then across or more southerly across to Madeira and the Mediterranean...the Azores is a bit north of Madeira but still a day or so out to sea and it appears that we will head north to England from there...any thoughts or experiences?
We did the 2015 EBTA and are booked again for this May's EBTA. Two years ago I was able to get some sun even on the first day out from Nova Scotia. Since as you said, this year's is a more southerly route, I expect at least the first 3-4 days at sea will be warm. And I am hoping for calm seas and blue skies but I definitely can't promise that
