trans-Atlantic Cruise

We just returned from the EBTA in April and it was fantastic. A few other podcast listeners were on as well. Because it was so long (14 nights) it felt like two separate vacations - the six sea days to cross (well, almost cross) the Atlantic and then the additional days in various ports. I certainly hope to do it again.

The weather was fine - mostly pretty sunny and warm enough - never really hot. The seas were pretty good - a couple of days had moderate waves - nothing like the rough seas the 2007 (or was it 2008?) EBTA had.

We have done the EBTA and loved it!!!

There was plenty to do all days and 6 sea days in a row is a blast!!!
It was nice after 6 days on the sea to step foot on land again and the ports were amazing!!!
During the sea and port days there was enough to do and see on the ship.
The weather was nice, not to cold and not hot.
The sea was very very very calm.

I did the EB TA in April 2010. Weather was great, probably highs around 70 -75 most days but nice breeze during the sea days. We lucked out and had mostly sunny days. Pools are heated so even if it was a little cold getting out, was nice to swim. I would do again. Just enough wave motion to rock me to sleep. I missed that when I got home
