Hey everyone.
Does anyone know why they pulled the trainer for a day program from the Sea World parks. Also, the last time they had the program they pulled the killer whales from the program as well. I did this program alot when they had the killer whales and did not know if there was an incident or if it was too risky to keep allowing interactions with the whales.
Thanks!

The final price before the program was shut down was around ~$500. SW had a serious lack of interest in the program due to the constant price hikes. Plus, with the removal of the orca interactions during the day made the program that less appealing. T4D basically became a Dolphin Interaction Program here in San Diego, so why pay ~$500 for that when you could pay $180 for the dolphin swim? It was just bad for the parks financially, so they yanked it. They still have the Marine Mammal Keeper experience in Orlando though, as well as Discovery Cove.

I have a close friend who works as a night trainer at SWF- the reason is, Seaworld was they were working on the breeding program and also making changes.. personally it was during the time they began working on the "Believe" show. They have no plans to bring it back any time soon. They used to have a Pseudorca interaction program but from what i heard on 3 seperate occasions one of the whales bit a person. Seaworld of course pays to keep them quiet.. Now they only have the Beluga interaction program which is pretty good. (it pays t have a good friend in the marine mammal biz)

Lol for $500.00 you can Pay for 2 people in discovery cove, swim with the dolphins, have breakfast and lunch, have a fun day and a 7 day pass to SeaWorld..lol
