Train question

I've noticed that prices from CDG to DLP seem to be cheaper than taxis and shuttle buses depending on the time of the trains.
Does anyone know if it is worth waiting until arrival at CDG and then purchasing tickets, as booking in advance is pointless due to potential flight delays.
Also, any recommendations of journey type from CDG to DLP would be appreciated.

Hi cougarric,
Elaine, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome you to the DLP DIS board

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here

DIS posting guidelines can be found here

If the TGV train times are suitable I'd always use that method of transport between CDG and DLP and return - its easy, fast, and for us as 2 people travelling, its cheapest too.

You can pay for your tickets at CDG - there are ticket machines you can use, or the ticket booths at the train station.

I always book in advance for both legs of the journey and get my tickets sent to my home in the post - I've done the TGV journey from CDG to DLP half a dozen times now, my flights have never been so delayed that I've missed my TGV (always book the TGV for one hour after my flight is due to land) :).
