We would normally get the bus from the airport but was thinking of taking the train, after waiting for long periods for the bus in the past we thought this may be the faster option.
Has anybody travelled this way from terminal 2E at Cdg to disney, how difficult is it? and would you recommend it?
We are going in September there will be 4 of us arriving about lunchtime.

I've not travelled that way myself but the TGV is definitely the quickest way to get to DLP.

What are the ages in your party? I think if you're all adults or adults/older children there won't be a problem but I'm not sure how easy it is if you have pushchairs/buggies. Have you considered a private shuttle - with 4 of you it may only cost a little more than the TGV?

The TGV is easy to do, especially if you are landing at Terminal 2, as thats where the TGV station is also.

however, sometimes its cheaper, and just as quick (when you factor in the walk to the TGV station from your landing gate and waiting for the next TGV train to CDG) to get a private or shared shuttle. the shuttle is the most convenient way of transferring if you have young children/a lot of bags etc.

As already stated, the TGV is easy enough to do. You can buy tickets at the station or online from raileurope. If you buy them in advance, it often works out cheaper. The train only takes about 10 minutes and they're very punctual (compared to our lot!).

I'd have to agree with the others though, a private shuttle is easier. Someone will be waiting for you in arrivals and they'll drop you off at your hotel. It would probably cost about the same as the TGV and when you factor in waiting for the train and then getting from the train station to your hotel, the private shuttle is probably quicker.

I've done the trip twice, once driving myself and once by TVG. I would not hesitate to take the TGV again and we had a half asleep 2 year old and 2 huge suitcases when we took it. We boarded the train and didn't bother to look for a seat, we never even left the area at the top of the stairs (not sure of the vernacular, vestibule maybe?). 9 minutes later (I timed it) we arrived at DLP. It does seem a but pricey for such a short trip but you're not getting there any quicker by any other means. People do seem pretty loyal to the shuttle companies but I've never taken any so I can't compare but TGV is a snap.

Hi there,

I have to agree with those above. Private or shared shuttle works out much and such the same price with the added advantage of being dropped right at the door of the hotel. We too are going in September and are using ezyshuttle. I have previously used RSTransports as well who are just as good

I've not done either - but my friend is just back from DLP. The went to buy tickets for the TGV and had just missed a 'cheap' train. They got the next one, but paid 80E, one way for 2ad and 2ch. On the way back it only cost them 45E so I suppose it does depend on what time of day you go.

Ezyshuttle have quoted me 70E each way for 4 passengers, so we're doing that on our next trip to try and make it easy as possible.

thats what I look at when considering TGV transfers between DLP and CDG. I always travel by TGV from DLP to CDG because it maximises my time in the parks on my last day, and its off-peak travel when I'm using it.

If I have an off-peak TGV option and its not more than an hour or so after my landing time at CDG, I'll happily use the TGV. If its a peak time for the TGV though, I book a shared shuttle for the journey to DLP, as its cheaper, and it only takes 40 minutes or so between landing at my gate and arriving at my DLP hotel :).

Thanks for all your replies, we have always used the shuttle in the past, but one of my party (we are all adults) does not travel well, and we thought if they are not to good after a flight then the train would get us there faster, will have to give it some thought, have seen private tranfers but have always been a bit concerned as l have heard some bad stories from people who have used them in the past
