What is the best way to get to Trail's End from Epcot.

I have never been to Fort Wilderness and have heard that I might have to take two buses?

Just saw your question, and sorry it took so long for someone to get back to you. There are three primary options available to you.

1) You can bus from Epcot to FW. I believe that bus drops you off at the FW main parking lot which would then require you to take a second, internal bus to Pioneer Hall. That method is a bit awkward and time-consuming but quite doable.
2) You can take the bus from Epcot to WL, then walk the paved bike path that connects WL to FW. It's about one mile, and while you may not want to do such a walk, it is quite lovely and often full of nature's surprises: squirrels, rabbits, deer, and I even saw a hawk sitting on the ground once. Once again, this method would be a bit more time-consuming.
3) Your fastest method would be to monorail from Epcot to MK, then catch a boat to FW. It disembarks right below Pioneer Hall and Trail's End.

Might I suggest taking a taxi cab? For a one time trip I would take the convenience of the cab and spend the 10-15 dollars.
