Trail's End Restaurant

hi all, can anyone give me a description of the trail's end restaurant in ft. wilderness? is the seating communal at long tables and benches or can you get a table for two, four, etc.? does anyone have a link to pictures? thanks in advance.

The seating is not communal. You will only be seated with your party. The tables have red checkered table cloths. There is a log cabin feel to the restaurant. Very homey. Good food!

We were there last week. We took the boat over from MK. I was afraid it might be too crowded as it was about 12:30 when we got there. But it was not crowded at all. We were seated immediately and practically had the place to ourselves. The food was excellent - salad bar, soup, sandwiches, fried chicken, veggies and I don't remember what else! But it was perfect after a morning at MK. For $9.99 per person for lunch buffet, it can't be beat!

Ditto what the other posters said!! We love Trails End...we usually eat there for breakfast before we hit the MK. (We like a big breakfast and then we skip lunch and eat a big dinner)

The food is really good, the atmosphere is cozy and laid back, the service is really friendly...the value can't be beat!!! Best value on the Disney property, hands down!

I'll admit it - getting around Fort Wilderness sort of scares me. All these bus routes and colors... If I drive there, which bus takes me to the restaurant ? What if we decide to take the boat over?

The boat takes you almost to the restaurant. You just walk past the dock up a little path and you're there!

Does anybody remember Trails End long ago (this would have been in the 70's) when you used to make you own pizzas??!! My Family always used to to that after MK closed when I was growing up and we stayed at FWR. It was a tradition of ours.
