We are looking at Trails End for dinner with two picky kid eaters. Do they offer any other options for kids like chicken nuggets and fries? TIA

I don't recall seeing fries or chicken nuggets there. I've been to Trail's End a couple of times. It's a smaller buffet than others. My daughter is also picky but LOVES buffets, that's why we go here. She's picky but she'll try things even if he doesn't think she'll like it. With the way things are, I would imagine their menu has differed a little.

Not sure if this is a good choice right now since you're paying $18 plus tax (for kids) for the family-style skillet, which doesn't include those items. It doesn't even include the fried chicken, which was a staple of the Hoop Dee Doo Review and the buffet. Maybe they are allowing substitutions (I have no experience) but that's what they are offering.

If you want to visit Fort Wilderness and eat, you may consider the adjacent P and J's Southern Takeout quick service, which does have a nuggets and fries plate on that menu.

Trails End is currently served family style. I wouldn't expect anything to be available besides what is listed on the menu.

If you are looking for chicken nuggets and fries at Ft. W, I highly recommend P&J's Southern Takeout as an alternative to Trail's End. DS13 and I had a family meal there in mid-June and it was, no kidding, some of the best food we had on our entire trip. They had seating inside and outside (picnic tables) and you don't need an ADR.
