Trails End - Campfire Questions

We are staying at Boulder Ridge and I have a dinner ADR for 6pm at Trails End. We (2Adults and 2Kids 3yo and 10month old) were hoping to walk over or take the boat.

I'm wanting to do the Chip & Dale Campfire after dinner.
Do you think this is possible? Or should I change my ADR to a different time?

I'm also assuming I can get the boat back over to Wilderness Lodge after the campfire as I'd rather not walk that late at night with the little ones.

We've done the campfire a few times & you'll have just eaten a buffet with dessert so may not be interested in dessert, but s'mores at the campfire are amazing!

S'mores (& cinnamon rolls) are a passion for me. The kids & I spent a summer finding our fav recipe. For us, its real chocolate candy bar & marshmallow creme. It's certainly fun finding out!

I pre-wrap any recipe in foil & take them to the campfire. Heat & flip to melt & make ooey-gooey. Then open to a foil 'plate' to catch all that goo. Then crinkle up the foil & toss in trash when done, much less mess!

I'm drooling just talking about it, I hope you get to enjoy a s'more as a summer rite of passage while at WDW.

In September the campfire singalong/movie is still on the summer schedule which starts at 8pm. So a 6pm ADR at TE should be fine.

Yes you can boat back when it's over.

Thanks for the replies. Good to know we don't need to change the ADR.
We've actually never had s'mores before! They aren't "big" in Australia like they are in the USA so we are just going to buy one of the kits they sell there.

I'm digging up this old thread because I have the same question, but for November. Any chance we can make it to the campfire with a 6:00 p.m. adr at Trails End?

I didn't know the times changed. I guess as it gets dark earlier?

Historically in November: Campfire lighting at 6:30, Sing a long at 7:00, Movie 7:40

Thanks all. We shuffled some things around and found an adr for 5:25. Hoping that'll give us enough time.
