We've had breakfast here and it's the best deal in WDW as far as we're concerned. How's dinner there? We're attracted by the peel and eat shrimp, and I was wondering what time would be best to get there to avoid crowds. Do they accept PS?

Thanks,
Bill From PA

They do not accept PS. For the freshest possible buffet I would suggest being the first ones there when it opens for dinner. You should pretty much have the place to yourselves for a little while. I don't remember the hours for dinner. (Maybe 5 pm?)

Trail's End does not accept PS. We had dinner there on New Year's Day. Seems to me that we got there at 5:30 or so. We were seated right away and it never did fill up while we were there. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed our meal. You're right, it's a great deal too! Enjoy! :D

We have eaten at Trail's End for dinner on a few occasions & have never had much of a wait. I would just get there at an early dinner hour. Even if you have to wait for a while you can enjoy relaxing on the porch.

I'm in agreement with you that the breakfast at Trail's End is the best value in all of WDW. We make it a point to eat there on each trip. We love it!! :D

We always visit Trail's End for dinner during our WDW stay. The shrimp are good. I try to time our boat departure so were on the lake when the boat parade starts, it's the best seat in the house.

On our last visit, I was curious about the lower level tables (maybe 6) located in the front RH side. They serve pizza/snacks and drinks at a great price for a light sit down meal.

DVCPat,
Are you talking about Crockett's Tavern? We like to stop in there for frozen drinks. We take the drinks outside and enjoy them while we rock in the rockers.

It must be Crocket's Tavern. The pizza was $13.00 and a few light snacks on the menu. It looks like a nice place relax.

We love Trail's End for dinner! We have dinner there several times per vacation. The longest we've waited for a seat is 10 minutes. We usually arrive around 5 and the food has always been hot and fresh and the servers are great there, they are quite friendly, funny and informative about when to go and when to avoid certain attractions. We have had cast members ask how your day was, what are your plans for the rest of the evening and/or tomorrow and they make some suggestions. The fried chicken is my favorite and my husband loves the apple crisp desert (not sure if that's the exact name). The salad bar is great too.
