:smooth: I'm going to make some yummy trailmix for my journey to DIS-Con. :smooth:

:) I have to get up BEFORE the chickens ( ;) Alan ) in order to be at the airport by 7:00am, but I don't get into MCO until 4:30pm :( so I'm going to mix up some peanuts, almonds, M&M's, granola, and dried fruit to snack on while I'm making my way to DIS-Con. :)

:D Oh, and I have some Teriyaki Turkey Jerky too! :D

That's a great idea Tia. I have to be at the airport at 5 a.m.- my wife is not happy since she is dropping me off. I do not want to cut it short with the intensified security screenings. I love trailmix or "gorp" we use to call it. I took a bunch of people canoeing years ago in Canada and we lived on the stuff for a week.:)

You guys are just too clever for me. I was going to stick with the breakfast (?) I get on the plane. I know one thing-I'm not drinking any coffee before I get on the plane this time! I hate using plane bathrooms!

Tia, your trail mix sounds yummy. It's a long day when you're flying from the western part of the country, isn't it? Oh, well. At least, you're not driving. :D

Dayna, what will YOU be snacking on??? :)

And Barb, I hear you about those bathrooms!!!

Nancy, great minds think alike. ;)

Patrick...'gorp'??? I've never heard of that before! Oh well, call it what you will, right? It's still sooooooo yummy! :D

I grew up calling it Gorp ....I think it is a Scout thing.

I went to buy my bag of dried fruit mix at Costco, what I usually do is then mix it with a can od mixed nuts, but when i got there they had cute indivigual lunch size bags of their trail mix, fruit and nut mix, and oriental mix....so I bought thoses ! Much easier than lugging my gallon size ziplock.

 Hi Judy.

I got this idea from you :) ....well kinda ;) I always take trailmix, er, um, I mean I always take "gorp" :D and turkey jerky for the kids to snack on......but hey! I'm a kid at heart ;) :D :p
