What are some of the things you do everytime you go to DL or DCA? From resturants to shows to just odd things.

When my oldest girl was little she wanted to skip down main street for some odd reason. Now every time we go I take the kids and we skip down main street at some point or multiply times during the trip. I even thanked my kids for my Christmas present.

Yep you guessed my present is all of us skipping down main street on Christmas:goodvibes

We always get an ice cream and have a family photo taken by the photo pass photog at night - either on Main Street in front of the castle or in front of the hat in DHS.

Since we visit WDW in February and are escaping winter, ice cream at night is a huge treat :cloud9:

Our tradition is that we always go to MK first, always ride POTC first then eat lunch at Cosmics. Do it everytime!!! If we arrive at lunchtime, we will not go to a park in the afternoon, we do DTD instead so that we can still keep up the tradition.

We have to stop by and say "Hi" to the Dumbo statue at the hub. That is always the first thing we do when we enter the park :) We rub his head, say hello to Timothy and then get on with our day.

We always take a picture of our kids on the steps of the Treehouse. It stems from a childhood picture of my sister, my mother and me on the steps there.

When we were kids we always at frozen bananas on the raft to Tom Sawyer island.

When my girls were growing up it was alays the rope drop then Dumbo before breakfast.

Now that we are taking the DS6 for his first trip can't wait to see what will become his tradition.

3 things:
1.Right tunnel going in at opening, left tunnel leaving at night.
2. Peter Pan first, every time
3. Dumbo last ride of the trip, at night as Fantasy land empties. So beautiful.

1. We always take a picture of our dd in front of rabbit's door on the side of the Mad Hatter store. It's cute to see how much she's grown since the last trip.

2. On our first afternoon there (We drive from Nor Cal so we always arrive in the afternoon) we head to Winnie the Pooh first (never a line) and then head back to HM and then Pirates!

1. Get a fortune from Esmeralda.
2. When leaving, just before making the little jig-jag at the end of Main Street, taking one last look at the castle over my shoulder.

My kids said we need to have a dill pickle each time now. I told them about my 1st grade teacher giving me a dollar for a pickle when I went for the first time, because I didn't want to leave school, so they each had to have one during our last visit and want to continue the tradition.

my sister and i have a tradition that everytime we go to DCA we buy a whole bunch of goodies from the bakeries and then go watch the Aladdin musical....even though it says no food allowed;) and we always sit in the same seats every time in the mezzanine off to the side. :goodvibes

We:
-enter through the left tunnel
-ride Pirates first every visit (be it MK or DL)

My unfortunate tradition is to talk about how much I want a churro and some how manage to never get one all trip. GIMME MY CHURRO! I'm so breaking that one!

(Hey Jasmine, I'm from Riverside originally!)

We seem to always enter on the right and leave via the left tunnel as well. I love reading the sign on the bridge as you enter the tunnel.

We always enter through the right ahnd gates as well. Creatures of habit, I guess.

As far as a tradition, I would say that at some point we get a treat and sit on a bench or curbside and "people watch" for awhile. Its another "form of enterainment" at DL.

Casey's Mommie - We always take a picture of our DD in front of that same door since she was about a year and half. She is now 17 years old:scared1: I treasure those pictures:)

We always take our picture on the steps in New Orleans Square. Unfortunantly, now they are kind of part of a shop back there. (At least they were in November when I was there, selling Christmas ornaments). But we still got our picture.

We always go straight to the coffee shop for coffee and a cinnamon roll and watch people walk down mainstreet before we start our day. Next stop is a set of ears for the day. Next stop after that, is a new lanyard and a few pins to start our pin collection for that specific trip.

First ride is alway Storybook Land and last ride is usually Storybook Land.

We also go to the wishing well before we leave for the night to make a wish. Sounds kind of corny, but it's what we do. :)

If I'm in Disneyland last, I always stop in the coffee shop with all the mugs (the one on the left if you're walking to the gates... not the one that does all the lattes and stuff) for a hazelnut coffee and chocolate chip cookie. Perfect for the drive home or walk back to the hotel :goodvibes
