Our plan to this point is to drive from MA and get to WDW 11/25/03. We are trying to figure out where we can get a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We aren't planning on any parks for the first few days in an attempt to avoid the crowds. Does anyone know of somewhere that serves just a regular, traditional Thanksgiving dinner?

UM, what day of the week is that? Oh it's Tues. (I had to find a calendar)

I just posted for someone else a suggestion to eat at LTT on Wednesday eve. It won't be as crowded.

Since you won't be in the parks, how bout something like Cracker Barrel? I think they serve the whole shbang.

We were at WDW over Thanksgiving in '99. On Thanksgiving day, we ate at Fultons Crabhouse in Downtown Disney.
Our party all ordered seafood, but some of the members at the table next to us had a traditional Thanksgiving feast that looked and smelled fantastic! And there is no park admission involved.

BTW, other than Thanksgiving day, crowds weren't much of a problem over that period. We went to AK that day, went to the early Cirque du Soleil show, then Fultons with relative ease.

Thanks for the suggestions. Just want to be prepared when it comes time to make any ps.

We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Boatwrights last year and it was very good.

In 2000 we had Thanksgiving at Yacht Club Galley at the YC and it was excellent! It was a buffet with traditional and non traditional foods and tons of desserts. We loved it. Assuming they're open and having it, I would go there.

2 years ago our family (14 of us) had a wonderful family style Thanksgiving dinner a O'Hana's. Service was wonderful. Food was great. Atmosphere fantastic. And you can make Priority Seating arrangements.

All of the resort and some of the park restaurants will offer the traditional Thanks. dinner. Often it will be the special of the day. We have had Thanks dinner at Boatwrights, Trails End, Yachts St, Concourse St, Whispering Canyon among others and have never had a problem finding turkey.

You are wise to make PS in advace as that day will be extremely difficult if you dont have one before your arrival.
