Hi, I have lots of questions. We pre-purchased 6 day hopper plus passes for $275, but have since then decided to trade one in on an annual pass to get a great room rate. Please tell me what to do to trade them in. Will I get 275 towards the purchase price? I have the DC, does anyone know the cost of an AP? Please let me know. Thanks,
RC

I believe because you bought a park hopper plus that you can only trade it in for a premium annual pass that cast a whole lot more :(

Take your PHP to any Guest Relations window at WDW. There is one at each of the four major parks and two at DTD. They will give you the full dollar credit of what you paid for it since it is unused. You will then pay the difference between that and the cost of the AP.

You will not have to get a PAP. That would only apply if you used a plus option within the first 7 days of using the ticket and then decided to upgrade within that same 7 day window. This is not your case.

You can still get your DC discount on an AP at WDW. The cost of a new adult AP with DC discount is $377.01

Not according to the receipt I have from Epcot.

They charged $375.24 for the AP with the DC discount.

And we have $60.54 FL tax for 3 AP's

Thanks, you folks are great! Now, I am informed and can count down the days till I leave!!!

According to the Disney official website, an adult AP costs $369.00 before tax and without a DC discount. Taxes add another $23.99 for a total cost of $392.99.

The DC discount should take $15.00 off of the cost of the ticket itself before taxes making it $354.00. The taxes on that amount bring the total to $377.01.

Take a look at your receipt again. Add up what you paid for the 3 AP's. Forget the tax that is listed. The amount of the three AP's should be what you actually paid in cash or charge. The tax listing should only break out how much of it was tax. It was already included in the amount you paid, not added to it.

You actually got an additional $1.75 savings. :)

Your right GoldenOldie! I never even thought to look at that part. Ok, that makes me feel better :D

LOL! No problem. That's just one of the many strange things that you will find go on at WDW. I could write a book. ;) Glad to be of help.
