trading to Intrawest

Have anyone traded to Intrawest during prime skiing season. How easy was it ? Are the resorts comparable to DVC and how many DVC points for a weekend/week stay.

Even Intrawest owners can't get those reservations so don't hold your breath. CI sells points but they don't have a home resort priority so if they sell say 6 resorts, all those owners are competing for the prime options as soon as reservations are being accepted. This has been a big issue with many of the CI members and they are non to happy about it.

From what I know, CI is comparable in quality overall to DVC.

wow, I was thinking of trading to Intrawest and buy there if I like the resorts. So, I may be better off try to buy a fixed week in places like Smugglers Notch, then I can get a ski week for sure.

May be. You should delve more into the specifics so you are certain you get what works for you. Email me and I can put you in touch with a Marriott exec that owns CI at Blackomb. He is a good man and will be happy to tell you more to be certain you know what you're getting and if it will work for you or not.
