Trading Posts Selection/Prices

Going to FW for the first time in October. Staying in a cabin.

How are the prices and selection at the Trading Posts? Should I shop there for our groceries (especially cold food) or use a grocery delivery service?

We were there in July. We used the trading posts mostly for souvenirs, but if I remember a loaf of bread was around $2.79 and a half gallon of milk was around $3.00. One thing I noticed is they do have a good selection of breakfast pastries and disney themed stuff such as hot chocolate mixes, Chip and Dale healthy snacks, etc. If you're planning on buying a good deal of groceries, I'd look elsewhere.

The trading posts are okay for forgotten staples or if you run out of milk or eggs. Baked goods are priced the same as the grocery stores with the price printed on the wrapper by the bakery. Soda, beer and wine are really expensive. They really aren't stocked for a full shopping experience if you are planning on cooking at the cabin. I would place an order with Garden Grocer and rely on the Trading Post if you need to get a little more milk later in the week or forgot to order ketchup.

hello, we have used the grocery delivery, we went on line and just ordered, it works great
