On previous trips we took the grocery stop with Tiffany towncar but now with the free bus service from Disney we have to find another way ti get groceries.Does anyone know the prices at the trading post for some of the following a 12 pk case of coke a 2 litre of orange juice a 2 litre of fresh milk a large bag of chips a lof of bread thanks daveb

Consider using a grocery delivery service such as gardengrocer.com, wegoshop.com, netgrocer.com. Prices are usually grocery store prices, with a delivery charge added on. You get a much better selection of goods this way.

The two things I remember buying from last week when I was there was orange juice ($3.20) half gallon, and Mickey Mac and Cheese box ($3.00). Go with the delivery, much better. I was in a pinch.

Here are some prices from the trading posts in Feb. Milk 1/2 gal-$2.95, Ruffels chips reg size $3.19, hot dog buns $2.49, hot dogs $4.65, 8 slices american cheese $3.00, 2 liters bottle of coke $$3.19.I hope this helps.Have a great trip.

The soda and water prices at the Hess Stations on Disney property are very reasonable. (Usually $5.50 for 2 12 packs of Coke products). I think it was $3.00 for a 12 pack of water. Chips were somewhere around $1.98 for a big bag.

You can get to the Hess Station at Downtown Disney without a car.

Take a bus to Downtown Disney and get off at the Pleasure Island stop. Exit the bus and go left instead of right and cross Buena Vista at the light/crosswalk. The Hess Station is right there.

I have never thought the prices were all that bad. Our situation is a little different in that we always have a car and drive to the grocery but by the time I spend a couple of hours getting there, shopping and getting back, I'd rather spend a little more money at the Trading Post and be done in 10 minutes. But, I don't think I'd ever pay $3+ for a 2 litre drink. (We always have our own as they don't sell our drink of choice)

Personally, I have found the grocery prices at other campgrounds far more ridiculous than those at FW. If you are just picking up a few staples, it would hardly be worth the cost of one of the grocery delivery services or a cab.
